Mikaela was born in 1984. She is Italian, and Iranian. She was raised in Colbert Washington. In the year 2000, at age two, she began dance classes. In the following years, she took part in school plays. Then, she began to appear as a model for children in commercials. Following her graduation from the theater course of Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, she enrolled at Loyola Marymount University in USA to pursue her study. Mikaela first made her appearance in 2007 when she starred in a movie titled Frank. Then, she was a leading actress in "Sorority Forever". In the following, she played the role in 'Humanzee' after auditioning in front of the most famous director of films, James Gunn. She then starred as a leading actress on Peter Safran's and James Gunn's X-Box Show Sparky & Mikaela. Hoover started appearing in American productions in 2010, in which she appeared as a guest in "How I Met Your Mom". Her other acting credits include James Gunn's production "Super".
